Carl Taylor (Chairman)
Carl Taylor is Director of Carl Taylor Homes and has been building in Canterbury since 2001.
He is actively involved in several different areas of the construction industry in both New Zealand and Australia, and is passionate about seeing builders be successful and getting the most out of their businesses.
Pete de Gouw (Director)
Peter de Gouw is Managing Director of Home Trends Builders and has been building in Canterbury since 1977. He has been awarded a number of Registered Master Builders House of the Year’ awards.
Peter is a Licensed Building Practitioner with both Site 1 and 2 licences and is experienced in running small to large jobs. He also has a NZCB and a NZCHS.
Ian Lamb (Director)
Ian is an experienced director and marketing consultant.
He spent 16 years working and consulting with co-operatives such as Combined Rural Traders in a senior role and has extensive experience with other co-operative businesses including LIC and New Zealand Dairy Board. Ian is director on a number of organisation and companies.
Simon White (Executive Director)
Simon has extensive Board and leadership experience in large corporates, a cooperative and SME’s, including roles as Chief Financial Officer , General Manager -Strategy and Company Secretary. His main Senior Management roles were with : Trustbank, Public Trust, Wrightson and the Cooperative Bank.
Robert Kilpatrick (Director)
Robert is a director of ARKCON Limited and has been involved off and on in the construction industry for 50 years and has constructed buildings ranging from conventional houses to A frames, Pole houses, School Building and ICF multilevel construction. He has been involved in starting businesses in Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh and Fiji and has a PhD in management from AUT Business and Law School and chairs a couple of Charities working in Myanmar.
Scot Pearce (Director)
Scot is Co-Owner / Operations Manager of Water to Waste Plumbing & Drainage. With over 25 years experience in the plumbing & drainage industry. For almost 14 years Scot & his team have been operating in the West of Auckland as a full-service plumbing & drainage company. Scot was the 2020 – 2021 appointee to the 12 month full access – Future Governance Program of NZPM (Plumbing World and Metrix Imports). Scot has completed multiple governance training programs with the IOD; is on Unitec advisory board for apprentices and a previous Director Consultant of BNI NZ (Business Networking Group).
